About the Role
Arcadia Research is seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful Community Manager to join our Ecosystem Development team. True revolution doesn't happen in isolation. Our ecosystem team fosters a vibrant community of developers, researchers, and enthusiasts around our protocols. We organize hackathons, run educational initiatives, and support independent projects that build on our technology. By nurturing a diverse and engaged ecosystem, we ensure that our vision of emancipatory technology spreads far beyond our own efforts.
As the Community Manager, you will be at the heart of our community-building efforts, creating meaningful connections with a global audience of developers, researchers, and blockchain enthusiasts. You’ll play a key role in amplifying the impact of our protocols, driving engagement through events, social media, and content initiatives. This position is ideal for someone passionate about blockchain technology and eager to help shape the future of decentralized finance through community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Arcadia Research’s online and offline communities, engaging with members through social media, forums, and events
- Organize and promote community-driven events such as hackathons, workshops, and meetups
- Develop content and educational resources that resonate with our community, including blog posts, newsletters, and tutorials
- Collaborate with the Ecosystem Development team to identify and support independent projects that build on our protocols
- Monitor community feedback, report insights to internal teams, and help guide product and strategy decisions based on community input
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, influencers, and ecosystem partners
- Represent Arcadia Research at industry events and conferences, acting as the face of our community
You might be a good fit if you:
- Have 2+ years of experience in community management, marketing, or a related field, ideally within the blockchain or tech industry
- Are passionate about blockchain technology and have a strong understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) and open-source communities
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse audience
- Are comfortable working across multiple platforms (e.g., Twitter, Discord, Telegram) to drive community engagement
- Have experience organizing and promoting events, both online and offline
- Are creative and resourceful, with a knack for creating content that resonates with technical and non-technical audiences alike
Strong candidates may also:
- Have experience in ecosystem development for blockchain or open-source projects
- Be familiar with developer relations and have experience supporting technical communities
- Possess basic knowledge of content creation tools, graphic design, or video production
- Show a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Expected Annual Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 USD
Logistics
Onsite policy: In general, we expect staff to be in one of our offices at least 60% of the time. However, some roles may require more time onsite, while some roles may allow for less.
