About the Role
Arcadia Research is looking for a meticulous and experienced Security Auditor specializing in smart contracts to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the security and integrity of our blockchain-based applications, with a focus on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in smart contracts. This is a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our protocols as we scale decentralized systems that align with Arcadia’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of smart contracts, identifying vulnerabilities and potential exploits
- Collaborate with developers to design secure smart contract architectures and provide recommendations for remediation
- Develop and execute automated and manual security tests to validate the integrity and robustness of smart contract code
- Stay updated on the latest security best practices, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities in the blockchain and DeFi ecosystems
- Provide detailed reports on findings, including risk assessments, recommendations, and action plans
- Contribute to internal security guidelines and best practices for smart contract development
You might be a good fit if you:
- Have 3+ years of experience in smart contract auditing, blockchain security, or a related field
- Are proficient in smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity, Vyper) and have a deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)
- Have hands-on experience with blockchain security tools like Mythril, Slither, and Echidna
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in identifying and addressing security issues
- Are passionate about blockchain technology and are driven to create secure and resilient decentralized systems
Strong candidates may also:
- Have experience with formal verification methods and techniques for smart contracts
- Have participated in or led bug bounty programs or security audits for high-profile blockchain projects
- Be familiar with DeFi protocols, NFT standards, and other blockchain-based applications
- Have a background in cryptography or security research with a focus on distributed systems

Expected Annual Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 USD
Logistics
Onsite policy: In general, we expect staff to be in one of our offices at least 60% of the time. However, some roles may require more time onsite, while some roles may allow for less.
