Arcadia Research
Arcadia Research's mission is to develop autonomous systems for inclusive global prosperity. We aim to create blockchain and AI technologies that are secure, transparent, and beneficial for our users and society at large. Our team is a diverse group of researchers, engineers, economists, and policy experts working together to build emancipatory systems that redefine global socioeconomics.
About the Role
The DAO Evolution team at Arcadia Research is at the vanguard of a revolution in governance – one that challenges the hierarchies and centralized structures that have defined decision-making for centuries. We believe in a future where power is not concentrated, but distributed; where communities self-govern in ways that are efficient, fair, and deeply informed by collective intelligence. As a Research Scientist in Decentralized Governance, you will pioneer the next generation of governance models for decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), integrating AI to enhance decision-making and resource allocation. This role is not just about creating algorithms; it’s about shaping the governance frameworks that will define the societies of tomorrow, ensuring they are inclusive, adaptive, and resilient in the face of global challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate governance frameworks for DAOs that can scale to global use cases.
- Develop AI-driven models that improve decision-making processes and optimize resource allocation within DAOs.
- Conduct empirical research on governance models, voting mechanisms, and reputation systems in decentralized settings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate governance research into deployed systems and protocols.
- Publish research findings and contribute to Arcadia’s leadership in decentralized governance and organizational theory.
Some of our team’s notable publications include:
- Comparing Voting and Delegation Models for DAOs: Scalable Governance for Global DAOs
- DAO Resource Allocation via Reputation Systems: An Empirical Study
- Adaptive DAO Governance Structures: Machine Learning Approaches to Constitution Evolution
- AI-Driven Collective Intelligence in DAOs: Enhancing Decision-Making Processes
